Everything happened in a bit of a rush or flow for me so I need to track down some Merch as well which I didn't get the chance to buy from the show. Anyway it was a hell of a experience, very spiritual as well.
But that's coming from my viewpoint of standing a few meters from Al Cisneros rig. They are now a trio, joined by band member Robert Lowe (Percussion, Synthesizer, Vocals and Guitar) and Haikus being replaced by Emil Amos on the drums in 2008. Shows .
One show on the Roadburn festival was amazing when they still used to play as a duo.With the years they used to implement more and more other instruments and sounds besides bass and drums, which is - on record - a good addition.The concert last night was the first time I saw them live as a three-piece.

Al was godlike the drummer was insane and the synth/guitarist was reading the play very well. I still feel like congratulating Al with his signature Rick. OM was dull, predictable and monotonous. Music. But Al Cisneros and the percussionist "Lichens" just could not play tight together. Cisneros' unmistakable chants address processes of mind, psychic reality, astral and causal planes of being, and the nature of the soul. H-OM. The drummer, despite respectable skill, plays the same damn patterns over and over, each song is the same. Unlike modern bands, OM also publish their albums on both vinyl’s and cassettes.
OM is currently touring across 13 countries and has 26 upcoming concerts. You could argue against the kind of white dude appropriation of other cultures that he and the opening act Windhoven promote, but you would be missing the musicianship and stagecraft that they offer. They played in a church though, so it might have had something to do with that.
I saw them live two times before, as I can recall 2008 and 2009. I wouldn't really call it metal, but it sure translates well live.
