It is as Death Metal as "Like a Virgin". This song has clearly everything not so brutal death, but still metal song needs - spooky opening, dark lyrics, great riff, perfectly done pass between silent part and 'go loud' part, shouted speech-like part of lyrics. Simply the best death metal song.
So, do yourself and me a favour and give this a listen before you listen to any of the songs mentioned here. And that you could make metal and still make smart music. One of my favorite songs and Rammstein is not death metal.
